RSS build and supply purpose built bottle storage racks designed for on and offshore use.  These racks are designed to accommodate CO’2, Nitrogen or any vertical gas bottles that are required to be stored in racks.  The racks can be designed to accommodate 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 bottles based on a maximum bottle size of 62.7” high x 10” wide.  

RSS can design larger bottle racks if required and we will will work with you to provide a storage rack system that's meets your individual needs.

We can fabricate from mild steel with a 3 cost epoxy paint application or mild steel hot dipped galvanized or aluminum and anodized with applications suitable for offshore salt laden environments or any other type of environment such as Petrochemical Plants.  The pictures shown on this page represent our 8 bottle storage rack that are designed for offshore use.  These racks are hot dipped galvanized and supplied with drop down ramps for access and removal of each bottle, qty 4 x lockable access gates two each side and qty 4 x lifting pads to enable the complete rack to be lifted from one location to another.  The floor is grated to allow water or any spilled fluids to drain and two cross rack rails are supplied to allow the bottles to be bolted in place using C-clamps.  

Below a specification based on the eight bottle rack design:-

• Load design capable of lifting = 2866Ib (1302.7mm) maximum lifting weight with 8 x bottles stored 5800Ib (2636.3mm)
• Frame is constructed using 2” box section mild steel for the top rails back and front, bottom and top with all other cross members 1.5” box section mild steel
• Floor plate is constructed from mild steel and grated to enable water to drain
• Qty 4 x access gates to enable each gate to be padlocked shut when not in use
• Internal bottle rack frames to be constructed from 1’ x 1” mild steel tubing and all uprights welded to the floor plate to provide stability. 1” x 1”
• Qty 4 x L- Brackets are fitted to enable the frame to be bolted to the grated deck at the location of installation, dimensions 2” x 2” with each plate drilled with ¾” bolt down
• Qty 4 x drop down ramps two front and two back to enable access using a pallet truck for ease of removal of each bottle
• Dimensions 37.1” length x 12” high x 1/8” gauge with two cut outs per ramp for hand access hinge
• Qty 4 x lifting pad eyes one at each top corner, to be constructed from mild ¼” plate steel 6” x 2” wide with 1” holes and suitable for lifting the complete frame and 2866Ib with eight bottles stored and each rack is weight lift tested to 5800Ib (2636.3mm) and certificate of test issued to the customer
• All components are constructed from mild steel with option 3 coat epoxy, hot dipped galvanized or aluminum anodized suitable for offshore salt laden environments

• Qty 4 x gates designed to be padlocked, each gate will need a plate to enable each gate to be padlocked closed Qty x 4
• Qty 4 x drop down ramps two front and two back to enable bottles to be removed using upright trolley Qty x 4
• Qty 4 x floor bolt down plates to enable frame to be bolted to grated floor Qty x 4
• Qty 4 x Lifting pad eyes to enable frame to be lifted empty of full Qty x 4
