RSS Glycol Injection Systems
This unit can be fabricated from 316 stainless steel or mild steel, epoxy powder coated. The unit is provided with a purpose built skid and 4 x lifting eyelets, the frame and enclosure are solid with all sides open for ease of maintenance. Glycol injection units are used primarily on 15K HPHT - High Pressure High Temperature Rigs and are an important part of well control process. Glycol is injected into the Choke and Kill manifold upstream of the chokes, this prevents hydrate formation and blockages that could result in pressure drop across the chokes.
Each Glycol injection unit is designed and manufactured to operate in hazardous locations. Additionally, the injection unit provides the facility to act as a BOP test pump and produces up to 26,100 PSI. The dual pump facility provides back up in the event of pump failure, allowing the operator to switch from one pump to the other. The two pumps can also operate together to double the flow-rate or dual hoses can be deployed to pump into two different locations on the manifold.
All internal pipe work is constructed from 316 Stainless Steel, including the hydraulic air inlets providing all round durability. This makes the G12007 low maintenance, rugged and reliable. The unit is also fitted with a ‘Hydratron’ heavy duty filter, regulators and is complete with easy to fill lubricator bowls. As the unit is open on four sides maintenance is easy, allowing unrestricted access to the pump.

PU-DHDA118/4-N/L2 double headed double acting pump capable of generating 23,695 PSI when supplied with 100 PSI air drive, hydraulic seals
150 liter reservoir compete with filler/breather, sight glass, drain valve and fill valve
‘Y’ type fluid strainer
Fluid inlet isolation valve
1” NPT air inlet bulkhead
Air Filter/regulator, lubricator, 2.5” dia. Pressure gauge 0-160 PSI and pump start/stop valve
